Our Story
I’m Damien, a lifelong Northern Beaches local who grew up surfing, snorkelling and exploring Sydney’s beaches. With a Bachelor of Environmental Management, I created Ecotreasures to make ocean experiences fun, meaningful and connected to conservation.
For more than 15 years, my team and I have delivered guided Manly snorkel tours, Sydney eco tours, private day trips and marine education programs for international visitors, schools, universities and corporate groups.
Our team is made up of local Australian guides with firsthand knowledge of Sydney’s beaches, marine life, ocean conditions and coastal stories. As a Water Safety Trainer with the Australian Professional Ocean Lifeguard Association, I share practical beach and ocean-safety knowledge to help people understand local conditions and feel more confident in the water.
Ecotreasures Learning brings that real-world experience online. Our courses cover ocean safety, marine conservation, Australian wildlife and responsible ways to enjoy coastal environments.
